The Real Madrid Hymn sung by Jose Aguilar was taking shape on a train that made the trip Aranjuez-Madrid. It Iban Marino Garcia and his wife, Mercedes Amor Fariña, Antonio Villena Sanchez Cisneros and the teacher.

In a few paper napkins from the restaurant La Rana Verde became the first notes of what would be the Hymn of Real Madrid. The recording was done at Columbia Records under the direction of arrangement and Cisneros.

Don Santiago Bernabéu went in person to view the recording and it involved other than Jose Aguilar, 32 musicians from that era who were leading figures as they were about conservatory professors and others were members of the Spanish National Orchestra. In that recording was Enrique Garcia (violin), who was the father of the current leader Enrique Garcia Asensio.
In 2002, the year of the centenary of Real Madrid, a second Hymn composed by Jose Maria Cano and sung by Plácido Domingo. This Hymn not replaced the first, but both together in the 2007 Hymns of Real Madrid. In 2005 during the filming of Real, the movie, José Mercé version of the classic Hymn Real Madrid.
