Facebook expands its dominance in the mobile

The universe in a pocket. Social networks are expanding and they do it in one of the land can still give a lot more of it: the mobile market. The arrival of terminals that increasingly offer better navigation and the success of social networks have led to an explosion in the sector. The data revealed that Facebook, and collected by CanalPDA, they attest: in less than a year the social network has tripled its users, from five to 15 million users.
CanalPDA also stresses that this exceeds the growth experienced by the social network as a whole: the number of unique visitors to Facebook grew from 52 million in June 2007 to 132 million in June 2008, representing an annual increase of 153%. The set of social networks grew by 25% during that period, more than twice the total Internet audience.
Tuenti in Spain has also experienced a remarkable growth of its users who access the platform via the mobile. The periods during which Internet users choose to enter through this channel coincide with the holiday or for leisure.
